ARTEMISIA VULGARIS

Herb of Moon, Dream & Folklore

Few European plants possess a folklore as rich as Mugwort.

Known botanically as Artemisia vulgaris, Mugwort has travelled alongside people for centuries and appears throughout European herbal traditions, folklore and seasonal customs.

Its name connects it with Artemis, while later traditions surrounded the plant with associations of the moon, dreams, travellers, midsummer and the mysterious landscape between the everyday and unseen worlds.

Our Mugwort Botanical Extract is handcrafted in Glastonbury as a celebration of this extraordinary plant and its place within European botanical heritage.
